HBO has already done this before (to everyone’s credit) in the series “True Detective” (2014). Yes, almost all characters are extremely unpleasant, but it seems to me that this is the beauty of “White Lotus”.
The music was simply amazing and set a very specific tone for the series
You can definitely still see each of their motivations, and I think the writers were very aware of the stereotypes they put into each of the main characters. The comedy for me was at its best, but it can disappoint people who prefer jokes.
In addition, some side encounters do not make sense, for example, the quick appearance of a pregnant woman from the first series
The story is pretty good, but my main criticism is that it makes you think that all the characters' At some point the side stories will come together, but I just don’t think it happened in a satisfactory way. The various groups interact with each other only in a few walls, and, with very few exceptions, the encounters have almost no significance to the plot.
Great main characters and a pretty good plot
I’m still trying to understand what the hell she was there for. All things considered, I highly recommend this to people who like satirical comedy.
