Hall, February 1, 1971. In episode 4, Blockbuster employee Deb and her boyfriend meet wearing a navy blue short-sleeved shirt as part of their uniform. In 1991, officers wore long-sleeved light blue shirts. Short sleeves weren’t adopted until 4-5 years later. Followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025). I went into this with pretty low expectations and mostly just excited about Resurrection. The opening of the first episode was terrible with the editing and the CGI cop car, and I thought “oh boy, this is going to fail”. By the end of the first episode, I was ate crow as the actors embodied their characters perfectly and the story showed a huge amount of promise. While we already know much of the backstory, the first episode contains a few surprises that add depth to some of the characters we know and love and add backstory to the decisions those characters make. Just one episode and I’m already hooked!
