Line of Events
A struggling writer finds herself at the center of the story she is working on when she is brutally attacked by a notorious cult leader and mass murderer, a man who has inexplicable control over his followers. I kept waiting for the momentum to build, but the director/writer had other things on his mind. I thought maybe it was planned as a slow flame. But it turned out too slow and boring. We’ve all looked at our watches to see what was slower…the movie or the watch. The film dies with a loss leaving you extremely unsatisfied. The weakness is in the story. It could have been a really unique movie. What a missed opportunity. The film does not live up to the expectations built in the trailer. The interest was to know about the cult. And it was never said except for one sentence. Skip the movie.
