Line of Events
A struggling writer finds herself at the center of the story she is working on when she is brutally attacked by a notorious cult leader and mass murderer, a man who inexplicably dominates his followers. I was waiting for the momentum to build up, but the director/writer had other things in mind. I thought maybe it was designed to be a slow flame. But it turned out to be too slow and boring. We’ve all checked our watches to see which is slower…the movie or the watch. The film dies a loss and leaves you extremely unsatisfied. The weakness is in the story. It could have been a truly unique film. What a missed opportunity. The film does not live up to the expectations built in the trailer. The interest was to learn about his cult. And it was never spoken except for one sentence. Skip the movie.
