Line of Events
After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a female patient, a psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that she is being threatened by an unusual entity.. Days before its release on September 30, 2022, the cast of the film appeared at various baseball games, sitting behind home plate dead and smiling as he stared into the camera, motionless despite fans in the audience being understandably concerned, while wearing Smile T-shirts. Another soon appeared in the background with the audience during the Today show. At about the 31 minute mark, Rose breaks a glass when her alarm goes off.
Rose Cotter: What are you?
A few seconds later, as he checks the door, he’s wearing lace-up shoes. Based on what happens later at the party, there are a few continuity issues that may not be "bugs" but it may actually be intentional to show "interruptions" in Rose’s consciousness/mind.. Why are you doing this to me? Monstrosity: Because your mind is so attractive.

The Paramount opening and closing logos feature a curved line in the shape of a smile at the base of a mountain. Lollipop Written by Beverley Ross & Julius Dixon Performed by The Chordettes. I literally just wanted to get my heart out. If only there were no more adrenaline that speeds up the heart!
The cinematography was amazing, I loved the lighting
The sound was out of this world, so don’t skip the "special sound" displays. In my opinion, it was an unpredictable fresh horror, along with a barbaric pairing for some of the best horror films, I would say, in the last few years. Watch it and really think about the moral here. There was more to the story than meets the eye.
Solid movie, great acting
For those who call this a snooze fest, they don’t understand the meaning of popcorn. Just good classic horror that actually keeps you on the edge of your seat and constantly guessing.
